Hey, how’s it going — my name is Garrett Knight. I’m 24 years old and from Boron, California. I race in Class 1600, one of the toughest divisions in off-road racing. The rules are extremely strict, which makes the cars nearly identical — so performance comes down to the driver and how hard they can push.
I got into off-road racing in 2020 when my dad and I started a project during COVID. That project introduced us to the racing community and eventually led to running our own Class 1600 program in 2023, starting with SNORE’s Rage at the River.
I’ve always been obsessed with engines and speed — I never imagined owning a racecar at 24, let alone competing against some of the biggest names in off-road racing.
